FORTUNATELY... TNA ended the show with an intriguing storyline hook delivered by an energized Mick Foley, which is that he's a financial investor in TNA. This opens up possibilities in the short-run and long-run. It assures TNA viewers that Foley is now a regular. It gives him a reason to be on TV and interact with wrestlers and be a voice of reason who tries to make TNA better. Eventually he can come out retirement to settle a feud that gets out of hand; presumably Kurt Angle is first in line. Where does this leave Jim Cornette as an on-air authority figure? Their interaction could be entertaining, but how many authority figures running around are really needed? Still, a plus coming out of this show...
